Behind the arcade
Make cool things. Put them to work.
Political Arcades is the playable side of AdsToAid: original games, comics, songs and political cartoon performances, created and directed by Tony.
What we make
The site brings short arcade games together with a persistent fictional city. A round can earn supplies; the city gives those supplies a visible purpose. Music videos and comics give the cast more room for stories and jokes. Greatest Hits is a different shelf: curated real footage with the original publisher and date attached.
Start with the game guides, the screening room or the comic. The playable game is always a direct link from its guide.
The person and the tools
Tony makes AdsToAid using ChatGPT, Claude and Cursor, with character art and animation workflows including Makko and audio tools including ElevenLabs. Human creative direction, selection, revision and editing shape the final work. Tony owns Makko, which is credited as a production tool. The site discloses that relationship.
What is original, and what is curated?
The games, comic presentation and musical cartoons are authored productions. Greatest Hits links to and embeds other publishers’ footage, selected and described by this site. Official embedded players deliver the source videos without an AdsToAid re-edit. A campaign’s statement is attributed to that campaign; it is not automatically an independently verified fact.
Giving is a separate ledger
The stated commitment is at least 50% of distributable profit to community programs. Documented costs, reserves and allocations matter; game scores do not measure money donated. The Community Pot describes the rules and reports actual activity. The milestone table on the homepage is a projection, not a record of money already delivered.
Independent satire
The site is fan-made and has no authorization or affiliation with a candidate, campaign or political party. Characters can appear in fictional situations. Real clips remain distinguishable from invented dialogue and animated performances.
