What is the game?
VOTE is a basketball challenge built around matching a shot. The setter chooses a spot and a shot style. A successful basket asks the other players to reproduce both. Miss the copy and you collect a letter. Spell VOTE and you are out; the last player left wins. It is a small, readable contest that rewards consistency as much as a spectacular first basket.
How to play
- Move with the touch stick, arrow keys or WASD. Shooting takes two presses: begin aiming, then release in the gold zone. Space is the keyboard shoot control.
- Choose Solo vs 3 CPU or Pass and Play. In Pass and Play, hand the device to the highlighted player each turn. Practice has no elimination letters.
- If everyone matches, the next player sets. If somebody misses, the setter goes again. Win three matches to unlock the next court; wins are saved in this browser.
A good first run
Practice a regular shot before adding a spin, fade, hook or near-rim dunk. Make the timing familiar before making the copy harder.
The idea behind it
The candidates are sharing a court instead of a debate stage. Their different ball-handling performances give the same rules a different personality; choosing a favorite is part of the fun.

Finishing a round can contribute supplies to your city. Game progress and real charitable giving are different systems. The Community Pot records the latter.
